Car Insurance Saab (Car Insurance). civic si, lancer evo x, subaru sti, acura rsx, 370z, genesis coupe?civic si, lancer evo x, subaru sti, acura rsx, 370z, genesis coupe? So i'm looking for a car. (obviously) I was never really into cars... all i really wanted was a civic or something. But lately i've been looking into it, and i'm really interested in it. I want to start going to car meets to learn more and such. if i get even more interested, i want to learn more and maybe even get into modifications. but only if needed. if i like the stock car then it's fine i guess. I've had my license for a year or so but i haven't gotten my first car yet. I want a car that actually goes pretty fast. 0-60 in maybe 6 seconds at least? I really want the evo x, but i heard awd makes the car stiffer and slower. is that true? the price is a little steep too. probably not a good idea for a first car either. i think the more practical thing for me to do would get the civic si, but im not sure. the more expensive cars like the rsx, g37, and 370z will be used. actually i think all of the cars i'm interested in getting will be used. i really like the 370z nismo package but 2 seats isnt enough. im not sure. i also like the Scion tC, but the 0-60 on that is 8 secs on auto, which is slow in my opinion. i just like it because its pretty haha (: i just want you guys' opinions on this, and any advice if possible, because i'm new to the whole car thing. as in i've only been looking into it for about 1 month. alsoooo, i only drive auto. i know it doesn't help much on the whole going fast thing, but manual is a big pain in traffic... and i live in LA. the 405 will kill me. i know these cars arent exactly in the same category... but it doesnt matter. i'm looking to spend no more than around 25k. more or less is okay, but thats just an estimate. thanks guys! First car? Find an 87 Honda Civic. It's reliable, fuel efficient, and will only cost you $500 so when you wrap it around a tree, telephone pole, a concrete barrier or another car, like what is so likely to happen statistically for young drivers, you aren't out of a $25,000 car. Plus, all the cars you're looking at will cost you probably a minimum of $400/mo in insurance, if not more. Likewise, the WRX STi doesn't have an automatic option. The EVO doesn't have an automatic option. The RSX Type S isn't fast and doesn't have an automatic option. your looking for a sexy car with speed and you have 25 thousand dollars to do it? wow i would have gotten an m3 or rs4 ages ago. genesis coupe Auto parts : FM Transmitter Acura 1995 . How long does it take to become a mechanic? I do not want to learn as a career, but so I can save money. I am a good handy man and do basic repairs myself, but I would like to learn how to fix the most common problems such as cars not starting, thermostat and brakes since those issues seem to occur to every single person. My fiance has a big family and all of them drive old *** cars that break down two times a month and they refuse to get more reliable cars. So it would be nice if I could fix them myself. car insurance. Auto parts : Fan Switch Dodge 2005. Fan Variable Speed Module Eagle 2006. Feeler Gauge Ford 2007. Fender Cover Geo 2008. Saab . How to Wire Ford Mustang HeadlightsNo extra wiring is needed to plug in halogen headlights into a Ford Mustang. When upgrading a Mustang's headlights to the aftermarket High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlights, however, extra wiring is needed. HID headlights cost more than halogen headlights, but they are brighter, use less energy and last longer. HID headlights come with all of the wiring that is needed to install them. Expect the process to take less than thirty minutes total. Difficulty:Moderately Easy Instructions Things You'll Need HID installation kit Latex gloves Step by Step : 1 Turn off the Mustang. Prop open the hood with the hood support rods. 2 Unplug the headlight wiring harness by pressing in on its side tabs. 3 Pull off the rubber weather shroud that covers the current headlight. 4 Put on your latex gloves to prevent the oils from your fingers from damaging the bulb. Press in on the retaining clip that secures the headlight in place. Pull out the current headlight bulb. Save for reuse in another vehicle or resale. 5 Mount the ballast from the HID headlight kit to the rear of the headlight assembly with the double-sided adhesive pads of zip ties provided in the kit. The ballast moderates the voltage that the HID headlight receives. 6 Insert the HID headlight into the headlight assembly. Secure it in place with the retaining clip. Cover it with the rubber weather shroud. Thread the socket on the rear of the HID headlight through the hole in the rubber shroud. Plug the headlight wiring harness that was removed earlier into the socket on the ballast. Plug the built-in wiring harness on the ballast into the socket of the HID headlight. 7 Repeat this procedure for the other headlight. 8 Turn on the lights to test them.
Saab . How to Wire TrailBlazer HeadlightsNo extra wiring is needed for the TrailBlazer when replacing its halogen headlights. This isn't true, however, when upgrading the headlights with aftermarket High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlights. Although expensive, HID headlights emit more light, last longer and use less energy than halogen headlights. Part of the price of HID headlights includes the extra wiring needed for them to function. The additional wiring is simple to install. For example, no soldering is needed. For this reason, expect the process to take less than 15 minutes for each headlight. Difficulty:Moderately Easy Instructions Things You'll Need HID installation kit Latex gloves Step by Step : 1 Turn off your TrailBlazer. Prop open the hood with the hood support rod. 2 Press in on the side tabs of the headlight wiring harness. Unplug the headlight wiring harness. 3 Pull off the rubber weather shroud that covers the headlight. 4 Put on a pair of latex gloves to prevent skin oils from damaging the halogen headlight. Press in on the metal retaining clip holding the headlight in place. Pull out the existing headlight. 5 Insert the HID headlight into the headlight assembly. Secure it in place with the retaining clip. Cover the headlight with the rubber shroud. Thread the socket onto the rear of the HID headlight through the hole in the shroud. 6 Mount the ballast from the HID installation kit to the rear of the headlight assembly with the double-sided adhesive pad or zip-ties provided in the HID installation kit. Plug the headlight wiring harness into the socket on the ballast. Plug the built-in wiring harness from the ballast into the socket on the HID headlight.
